Shakespeare

Shakespeare, would this world be the same without him? Shakespeare, one of greatest writers this world had ever witnessed. Shakespeare had not only set an example of how literature should be written, but he also set the bar. If we didn’t have Shakespeare, this world would miss out on forty captivating plays that we have all grown to love. Not only would we miss out on those plays, we would lose around two hundred and fifty great movies and shows based upon his work. You may stumble onto his great stories and notice how difficult some may be to read and interpret.  Instead of bashing him, we should thank Shakespeare, for he took the old English and made it a whole lot easier for some to digest. This man has also given us over 1700 words in our vocabulary, which we use regularly in today’s world. Even though Shakespeare had died long ago, his spirit will be lived in all that we read, write, and watch.  He took me through an epic love story in Romeo and Juliet, put me on the edge of my seat with Hamlet, and still captivates thousands with his plays, quotes, and ideas today. His creative mind inspires us all still to this day.
